jaynicxoxo How many of you are moms, hate doing your hair, or just don't have the time or energy to do so? lol I used this @crazy.curls.llc heat shield pockets on the day of my gmas funeral. I woke up super late and wanted to curl my hair but knew i wouldn't have time so I reached for these and it took me less than 5 minutes to put them in! I like it because for me it's quick, easy, and no direct heat damage in my hair!

Basically, if you're in a rush or forgot to do overnight curls, or are nervous about typical heating tools, these pocket shields are perfect! Personally, I like them because you don't put direct heat on your hair which is awesome! Overall, they're pretty cool!

@CharmieJanee So I tried out the "Heat Shield Pockets" from @crazy.curls.llc and it's such a good way to curl your hair without putting direct heat on your hair. If you're overly protective over your hair like me then you'd love this! It's become my go-to whenever I need to quickly curl my hair or add abit of "vavavoom" in the morning. Loving the heat shield pockets. When you're in a hurry, had no time to do overnight waves/curls, and you need to curl your hair but you and heat have an issue...then these pocket shields are the way forward!

I have flat straight hair. I also live in a state that has high humidity at times.Today is 88% an climbing which means frizzy hair. So I went for loose curls today I couldn't find my straight iron so had to dig out the old curling iron. Love these when I want loose curls I just put them in an put heat on them on for a minute an l end up with my loose curls. And still have curls as hot an humid as it is.

I do like the protection the wraps provide. I think this was a ingenious idea. Nobody wants to damage our hair. I've been using hot curlers and curling irons for years. This is a great alternative.

I wasn't real sure I would like this product as I have thick, corse, and difficult hair. I tried to begin with and didn't find the results I was hoping for. Just another product that didn't work out well. Then I decided to give it another try, I used less hair in the pocket, and actually used the serum. The results were fantastic. I loved my hair for the first time ever. So I say if at first you don't get the results, try again. I for one love, love, love Crazy Curls.

I didn't have bad hair days, I had a bad hair life. I have very thick and coarse hair. I could never get my hair to give me the end results I was after, so I have always hated fixing my hair. Crazy Curls has for me made it less time consuming,with favorable results. I can get in and out of the hair styling mode in minutes, with hair that's not dried out from over heated elements. I must admit I still don't like fixing my hair, but when I do at least i can do it, faster and easier without all the damage.

I am in my eighties and I didn't think I wanted to fuss with anything new. But, I agreed to let Crazy Curls be demonstrated on my hair. I was going to a funeral, and I wanted to look my best. Best way by far to curl your hair. Curls last longer then average curls. And you don't get the burnt hair like you do from the other ways.

I seem to be running constantly between school, volunteering, and work. I don’t seem to ever have enough time to curl my hair, but with Crazy Curls I can twirl in a few fast curls and be off in record time.

High-quality synthetic hair extensions or wigs can be curled safely using Crazy Curls Heat Shield Pockets and a flat iron no hotter than 320 degrees Fahrenheit. A flat iron heated to hotter than 320 F may cause the extensions to melt. Cheap or inexpensive synthetic hair should not be heated, some synthetic hair is so heat sensitive even standing in front of a hot oven can melt them. Test a small piece before you begin.
Practice wrapping the perfect curl and placing the clips properly. It's easy when you get the hang of it.
For long hair some people choose to curl hair around an object instead of their fingers. Notice in CharmieJane's video on home page she uses a spatula handle, where Hailie Barber's, at top of this page chose to use a mascara tube.
Pay close attention to the ends of your hair and be sure they follow the curl pattern and stay tucked in.
Adjust the length of time you leave your hair in the Heat Shield Pockets (HSP). For easy to curl hair or a looser curl remove from HSP before it cools completely. For hard to curl hair or a tighter curl leave in longer and let cool.
Figure out the amount of hair to put into each pocket that works best for you. This depends upon the length, thickness, and texture of your hair.
For long/thick hair try the Instant pocket/heat technique. Heat each HSP as soon as you clip it over your curl, by the time you reach the tenth HSP your first is cooled enough to remove and continue with the remaining hair. Continue this pattern until you have curled your entire head.
For longer lasting curls use serum or your favorite holding spray, and leave your hair in HSP longer. There is no limit as to how long you can leave the HSP on, even after they have cooled.
Heat pocket below clip with flat iron. Don't heat clip to avoid crease at top of curl.

Tight Curl: One Finger Twirls. For a tight more ringlet curl, twirl your hair loosely around one finger. The single finger twirl makes the more defined curl. Remember to keep the ends into the curl pattern and tucked in.
Loose Curl: Two Finger Twirls. For a loose curl, beachy look, twirl your hair loosely around two fingers. You can use one twirl like the two finger for a super quick every day look.
Natural Body: Three Finger Twirls. If you want natural looking body without visibly defined curl. Try a 3 finger twirl. This is a great twirl for a very easy and very stylish look, especially if you're looking for a quick style. For a quick, in-and-out of the bathroom just do a few curls around the bottom for that sexy bouncy look.
Play with different twirls and explore your own personal style. Once you master the techniques you'll be amazed how quickly you can achieve your perfect look.
